You can set the necessary data for operation and view various information about the weaving machine on the function panel.
NOTE: This touch panel is capacitive type.
Pay attention to the following when using the touch panel.
1. Use your finger to input on the touch panel.
The touch panel is not responsive to touch by fingernails.
2. If you wear gloves, etc., the response and operating feel will vary depending on the material and thickness of such gear.
The touch panel may not respond, but it is not a failure.
3. Do not bring metallic objects or electric wires close to or in contact with the touch panel surface when the weaving machine is operating.
Doing so may lead to the malfunction of the touch panel.
4. Do not touch the touch panel or bring metallic objects or electric wires close to or in contact with the touch panel when turning on the weaving machine because the automatic calibration function is activated when the machine is turned on.
If you do so, the touch panel will not operate normally for a while after turning on the power.
5. If the touch panel surface gets dirty, wipe it off with absorbent cotton or soft cloth.
Do not spray water or use chemicals such as organic solvents or acidic detergents, as they may cause deterioration of the touch panel.
6. Do not apply strong force or vibration that is beyond the normal operation to the touch panel or the function panel body.
Such impact will cause the plastic case to crack or the LCD module to be damaged.
(Leaning on or getting on top of the touch panel or the function panel body is strictly prohibited.)
REFERENCE: In three minutes after starting the weaving machine, the function panel screen's backlight will automatically go off, and the screen goes dark.
This behavior is for the long life of the LCD screen.
The backlight will be back on automatically when the machine stops.
It will also be back on whenever you touch the screen.
